(Sometimes literally. haha) .so today, we looked at the way shadows fall on our faces, and then practiced some shading. I now see how blending, shading, and coloring in a picture is similar to adding dimension to a face. Saturday, September 24, 2011. Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011:. Here's a look at what I see in the mirror at my work space:. I hardly ever stay seated while I'm applying the makeup. I've got to get closer to the mirror in order to see what I'm doing. Applying this clown face was easier than I thought it would be. The toughest part was mixing a nice flesh tone and painting those eyebrows. Here's what I ended up with! We were able to go out and parade around the building. I found my roommate Veronica. :p.

First we took a look at our faces as they are now. We scrunched up our noses, pursed our lips, and. Squinted our eyes in order to find where our wrinkles would show up naturally. Well the complete opposite thing happened to us in class this week. instead of making ourselves look extremely fat, we switched to looking extremely skinny. its crazy how much shading, highlighting, and shadowing can change the whole appearance. it was really sweet to see the difference between these faces and the fat faces we did last class.
