Warning: obsession alert. - Fantasy isn't just a genre, it's a way of life
http://faerie-music.livejournal.com/22244.html
Fantasy isnt just a genre, its a way of life. Aug 28th, 2007 at 11:55 PM. This entry is partly to celebrate my new journal theme (check it out! But mostly it's to do something I really ought to have done a while ago: obsess about Megan Whalen Turner's books. These" are: The Thief. The Queen of Attolia. And The King of Attolia. AND THEY ARE AMAZING. One caveat: I am more madly in love with these books than the rest of my family; they regard me as a little bit obsessed on the subject. Quite correctly.

Fantasy isnt just a genre, its a way of life. Aug 28th, 2008 at 11:40 AM. I'm just back from a week in England, where I succeeded in seeing (*deep breath*) David Tennant's Hamlet. There are no words. And Patrick Stewart was Claudius, which, also, squee. Under normal circumstances, this would be the big thing to squee about, but while his Claudius was very very good, David Tennant's Hamlet was a revelation. Also, maybe I'm a bit obsessed with him. But there's nothing wrong with that, right? No, seriously&...

One of twenty two incarnations. At June 3rd, 2008 (10:26 pm). There's been some talk a few posts down about Lymond fanfic. Like the phoenix, it exists, and like the phoenix, it occasionally plunges into its own ashes to be reborn somewhat differently. Unlike the phoenix, it runs the gamut from zombie adventure to hot'n'heavy slash. A while ago,. Created a masterlist which was posted to. And can be found here. This is not a complete list. If you've found more fics (or written any! Posted by: bluekaty (.

Golden Hour - A Third Star fic. Aug 11th, 2013 at 12:23 AM. A few days ago, in a fit of latent masochism, I sat down and watched Third Star. It's a gut-wrenching movie about 29 year old James, (played by the inimitable Benedict Cumberbatch) who is dying of cancer and wants to take one last trip to his favorite place in the world with his three best friends. Difficult to watch, but ultimately, it was a beautiful movie about friendship and being heroic and it's going to stick with me for a long time. He’s ...

Fantasy isnt just a genre, its a way of life. Sep 18th, 2007. When I was living in England, the year I was nine, my family visited the Doctor Who museum, near the Welsh border. (I think it was that trip, anyway. [*shudder* I nearly just wrote 'thripp' instead of trip.]) At that point, I had never seen any Doctor Who. Now I have. Martha: Whoa, nelly! I know for a fact you've got a wife in the country. Shakespeare: But, Martha, this is town. Shakespeare: Is that a promise, Doctor? Perhaps, but definitely f...
