Thursday, August 22, 2013. S for Ms.King. 1 My favorite thing I have done in Englsh class would be reading The Soilders Heart with a group of friends. We had to read the book and then make a presentation for the class about the book. Ants - Didn't know whether to keep attacking or back off the attack. 4 (a) The Climax is when Leiningen runs for the weir (b) The climax is the most exciting part of the story. Wednesday, September 4, 2013. 1 the external conflict is Leiningen vs the ants. 2 the internal conflict is liningen fighting his urge to not give up because of his pride. 3 ants and the Indians, B. ants were fighting the urge to stop and not attack, and the Indians were thinking is it really worth it. 4 retreating to the final moat, it is the most intense part. 5the warning of the ants, preparing for the ants seeing the ants come. The external conflict is Leiningen vs. the ants. 2 What is Leiningen's internal conflict? Leiningen has to decide to stay or run. 3 Which characters besides Leiningen experience an internal conflict? Identify the conflict and how or whether it is revealed. The Indians had to decide if they should stay with Leiningen or run. Leiningen asks all of them if they want to stay or run.
