Oct 22, 2011. The Legend of the Kitchen Witch. Once upon a time there was a bottle of dish soap. This poor bottle of soap was very short-lived because of the endless dishes that piled up daily to be washed. Soon it was empty and thrown in the trash to be forgotten. But the bottle wasn't ready to be dumped and arose from the recycle bin declaring it would get revenge. It put a spell upon Kimbo the Crafter to create a disguise so it wouldn't be simply tossed away. Kimbo the Crafter was mesmerized by the wi...

A cool wreath and very nice tutorial, indeed, by Laura at her blog, Top This Top That. She makes it look so easy.and it is.however, I was a little concerned about the whole thing unraveling by a flock of crazed blue jays since my wreath will be outdoors. 18-inch wire wreath frame. Unroll some burlap and fold in half lengthwise.

Kim Castillon: C'mon Spring!
http://www.kimcastillon.com/2013/03/cmon-spring.html
Mar 15, 2013. Daffodils and hyacinth's are already popping up in Texas. It's fuel for the creative soul. I decided to surprise my mom with a new wreath. I purchased a decorative plaque from a local craft store for a focal point. My favorite element is the lime green woven wire garland which was so easy to work with, I believe its from Raz Imports. I used it (and mini easter egg garland) in lieu of ribbon. Variegated ivy hangs from the bottom for a "window box" effect. As always thanks for stopping by.
