GrowingUpBakers: August 2011
http://growingupbakers.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 4, 2011. The kids returned home yesterday from their very first time at camp! I was excited for them because the weather was sunny and warm, the nicest yet this summer (which isn't saying much), but it made swimming and time spent outside much more enjoyable. They both talked non stop about it on the car ride home, over dinner and pretty much all evening. It was super cute to listen to their stories and hear their camp songs! I still remember all my summer camp songs! What we Love .

Thursday, August 9, 2012. May 10th Chloe had her 6th Birthday! Her actual birthday fell on a weekday and I gladly made her dinner of choice, popcorn and fruit! Then a few days later she had her Birthday party at the house! It ended up being an ALL girl party ages 2-10! She wanted a Rainbow theme! So we decorated with rainbow colors and ate a variety of 'rainbow foods'! Her favorite was Rainbow pizza and chocolate covered strawberries with rainbow sprinkles (Yum! She also wanted a pinata! What we Love .

Sunday, February 5, 2012. A Visit from Grandpa Michael and Aunt Betsy! We had a great five day visit from my dad and Aunt Betsy! They traveled by Greyhound bus on a 13 hour ride from Seattle. The roads have been covered with snow and ice with our -40 degree cold spell, and taking the bus was a good alternative to driving. While they were here, it warmed up a bit to around -12, and the skies were sunny and blue! Sliding at Dead Man's Hill (if you look close there's actually three different hills). Togethe...
