We celebrated Neptune Day- which I'm sure most of you know is the Navy tradition of celebrating crossing the equator. Okay - so before I tell you how I spent my time in Ghana I have to say a few things…. 1) The shower I took after getting back to the ship was one of the greatest showers ever. It was so ridiculously hot and humid we were all disgusting! 2) A tro-tro is a shared taxi van that holds about 20 people sitting nice and tight and close together and is the cheapest mode of transportation. Sunday, January 31, 2010. Day 2 of 11 or is it 12? Scotty cheated and took on the bet knowing he still knew a song from elementary school that named them in order. We then moved on to the challenge of trying to write them without the song and moving from west to east. I have developed a short list in the past day and half called “ways to prove that were very bored at sea”. 1 I nap every day. 2 I watched 2 episodes of Dexter Season 1 today alone. 6I reread emails I wrote or received within the last day.
