Ian Grimes has worked on Morgans as well as other historic and collectable cars for 25 years. He joined Rob Wells at Libra Motive, main Morgan agents in North London, in 1988 and worked there until 2004 when the agency closed. From there Ian went to Brands Hatch Morgans at Borough Green in Kent for 18 months. He has worked closely with Rob Wells on developing the many innovative Librands products, tested on Rob’s prototype Plus 8 MOG800, and fitted to hundreds of Morgans.

Ian has extensive experience preparing and supporting cars on track. He was with Beechdean Motorsport where he ran a BMW in the first Britcar 24 Hour race at Silverstone and subsequently a Ferrari 360 in British GT for two years; he then joined Rob Wells at Lewis Racing and has a wealth of experience with competition Morgans.
