Plitvice Lakes | Not a Bucket

A mix of memoir, bucket list, and a collection of non-fiction. Laquo; A Start, I Suppose. March 24, 2010 by tbtylee. It looks like a place that exists only in stories about dragons, wizards, and distressed damsels. Somewhere that you would be as likely to find a water sprite playing tricks on a faerie as you would a gaggle of Japanese tourists, eyes glued to their view finders. I hope to visit soon, at least before Rick Steves gets me hooked on some other place. I’d love to hear your stories. Sorry, your...

Lonely Rivers: October 2012
http://lonelyrivers.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 13, 2012. Sad and Frightened for all of us. Last night I met a woman who has chronic leukemia. She is on medicine that keeps her alive. For $8000 per month! When her Cobra runs out she believes she basically faces a death sentence because she can't afford the meds and she can't get insurance. This election is important, people. I challenge Mr.Romney/Ryan to tell me what will happen to this lovely lady? Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Rest of the Story.

The county has been able to keep up with clearing the roads so far and my snow blower does the driveway. The garlic will be happy under its blanket of straw and snow, I think. Well I wasn't wrong about that wind on the 15th being no fun! Monday, November 15, 2010. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Mouse m...
