Monday, February 15, 2010. This winter has been the coldest and wettest I can remember! We have had snow 2 times already! The first time was just a little dusting and this past weekend we got some actual snow with 3-5 inches! For us in Atlanta, that is a blizzard! Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Merry Christmas from the Palmers! Hope everyone had a great Christmas and that you all have a Happy New Year! We had a fabulous Christmas week! Everyone on Christmas Eve before heading to church. Nice work on the self-timer, Pip! Santa brought each of the kids an umbrella.I didn't think it would be such a hit.they played with them all day and are still walking around with them.Santa must have known they would be a fan favorite! Ansley was taking Sully's new scooter for a spin!

Thursday, November 25, 2010. The Palmer's fall adventures part 2. Halloween this year was SO fun! Brett and I even participated in the fun with our dinner club costume party with friends the weekend before Halloween. The kids had lots of costume parties with friends, a trunk or treat at church, and, of course, the big day was filled with lots of trick or treating and candy! Dinner club costume party! Friday, December 10, 2010. Disney Trip Day #1: Animal Kingdom. Disney World was magical! I know that sounds so cheesy, but it is true! The kids were just in awe of EVERYTHING and it was so fun seeing Disney through their eyes. Our two days were just perfect! The weather was cool, there were hardly any lines longer than 15 minutes, and the kids did great going all day with nonaps! On the first day, we went to Disney's Animal Kingdom. Sully was SO excited for the safari ride and to see all the animals!

Monday, December 12, 2011. Tracy and I were browsing on Pinterest for Christmas craft ideas that he could make for his family. We came across this blog. That had a tutorial to make these West Elm nutcrackers. Out of Dollar Store nutcrackers. Here is my version of the before. Now I just wish we had a mantle to display them! Nutcrackers-we got ours at the Dollar Tree $1 (they are 9 inches tall). Spray paint-on hand (we ALWAYS have spray paint). It cost $5 for five nutcrackers. Much better than $29 for one!
