That the water, or milk, as some call it, is nearly identical to blood plasma. And that when you drink fresh coconut water, it’s as if you’ve given yourself an instant blood transfusion. Tracy Mullins, living and working in the Dominican Republic. My buddy Ydekel turned 18 this month so we decided to celebrate by going to a movie in Santiago. We started the party by covering the birthday boy with silly string. Then we went and got Papa Murphy’s Pizza. (Santiago is getting more and more American restaurants…. Including Tony Roma’s, Friday’s, and now Papa Murphy’s). After the movie we tried on some mustaches and went home the long way. It’s been fun watching him grow-up.

Actually, in the barrio where they seemingly pay a very minimal amount for electricity, they probably pay a lot in the taxes being that they consume a huge amount of rice, beer and milk. Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Today we got a massage in Gulf Breeze and enjoyed a relaxing day. When we sat down for an amazing lunch of Tri-Fin, some awesome local fish, we realized it was actually 4pm! After lunch we went to a very populated beach on the Gulf of Mexico. We both ended up falling asleep for like an hour. When we woke up we took a little swim in the ocean. Very refreshing and warm.
