Thursday, January 10, 2008. Yellowstone Revisited, again. Ati and Tracy "do" YNP. Good friends, hot soaks, geysers, bison, and wolves- oh my- not much more to say than that. Sunday, March 28, 2010. And, Hawaii is the shit. As a teacher, I always encourage my students to use better vocabulary but this seriously sums up the feelings I had during this trip. I could say it was ineffable- an effin ineffable experience- but I prefer to use "the shit" especially when speaking about my trip-it has more feeling for me. Tall trees at our Volcanoes campground. The smell of eucalyptus was delicious. Looks just black right? Grace and me in the lava tube. A windy lookout of Kilauea Crater.

Tracy Going All The Way. Marathoner Fever. the bit I forgot. I ran the first 10m perfectly, but 13m I was faltering… wondering if I could complete it. It was very hot around 18degrees. The atmosphere was great. Through all my light-headedness and sickness, I was determined to run the last half. Getting my second wind after the sit down and dextrose energy sweets, I hit the seafront with just over 3miles left to go. I was determined to run it all. I did! And not only was I running, I sprinted to my finish!
