Catching Up – Abstracted Eye
https://abstractedeye.wordpress.com/2013/07/11/catching-up
Looking at the world just a little bit differently. July 11, 2013. July 11, 2013. I’ve been on holiday recently with only patchy wi-fi, or 3G, so it’s been a while since my last post. It was like living in the 80’s in some ways, with no real access to up-to-date news, weather and no other information such as entry prices to attractions. Anyway, here’s a digest of some of the iPhone shots from the holiday – feel free to checkout my Flickr Feed. Life’s a Beach. June 26th – Glazed Over. Follow me on Twitter.

Fun and Life Satisfaction. Is This My Last Scuba Dive? Will I Get Out Alive? May 8, 2015. By John van Zyl. Dive Boat (divers kitting up). We tied up to one of the permanent bouys fastened to anchor chains around the back of Cooke Island, the powerful outboard engines were shut down and we started kitting up. There were 8 divers, so we were divided up into two groups with two dive leaders for each group. Our dive plan was to head away from the Island (due east? After our group had done their buddy checks,...

July 9th – Tears of the Tin Man – Abstracted Eye
https://abstractedeye.wordpress.com/2013/07/11/july-9th-tears-of-the-tin-man
Looking at the world just a little bit differently. July 9th – Tears of the Tin Man. July 11, 2013. July 11, 2013. It’s amazing who easily we anthropomorphise objects and animals and see faces and emotions in everything around us. This is a small part of a decorative fence that I spotted a ‘face’ in. The face could be angry, or sad, but the small drop of paint looks like a tear, making it look much more sad than angry. Taken with my iPhone 5 and edited with Snapseed on the iPad.
