Con daily's photography blog. Tuesday, January 22, 2008. Mountain Chickadee: Wintering Close to Home. Posted by Con Daily. Really nice shots. I especially like the first one. Did you use a flash to get the catch-lights in the bird's eyes? January 22, 2008 at 5:45 PM. Howard took the words right out of my mouth (or computer, in this case). Very nice. The top one is especially sharp and you get a sense of how close you were. January 23, 2008 at 5:16 AM. January 23, 2008 at 9:02 AM. Just curious.how clo...

consworld: In the Garden of the Gods
http://condaily.blogspot.com/2008/02/in-garden-of-gods.html
Con daily's photography blog. Monday, February 18, 2008. In the Garden of the Gods. A few days in the Colorado Springs area gave me the opportunity to photograph something different. Garden of the Gods is a free city park uplifted 25 million years ago and eroded to the present beautiful formations. I'd been there before, but never had time to explore all the trails and walkways. Posted by Con Daily. That's quite a name for a park to live up to! February 18, 2008 at 8:08 PM. February 20, 2008 at 5:33 PM.

Con daily's photography blog. Sunday, December 23, 2007. Battle Scarred Mule Deer. Posted by Con Daily. Seriously great photos, Con! He has such an interesting face, very different from our white-tail deer here in the east. I noticed that first, even before the ears. And the antlers have a very different look, too. Is that patch of dark, calloused-looking skin between the eyes and antlers typical of the breed? December 24, 2007 at 4:58 AM. December 24, 2007 at 8:12 AM. These are great photos! Other photo...

Aaron Lifferth's Painting a Day: Final Five
http://aaronlifferth.blogspot.com/2010/08/final-five.html
Aaron Lifferth's Painting a Day. Challenging color and edges. Painting a day.hmmmm not so sure about that. Wednesday, August 4, 2010. All painting for this series are 16"x16". These are the final paintings I did for the show. I was looking for a new direction and decided to set some rules and see if I could make some paintings based on those rules. The rules were:. Set 4 things together in the center with two objects on top of two other objects. Include folded or rolled fabric. Again, thank you all!

Aaron Lifferth's Painting a Day: Larger Five

Aaron Lifferth's Painting a Day. Challenging color and edges. Painting a day.hmmmm not so sure about that. Monday, June 28, 2010. I painted this one on canvas, and had a really fun time with it. I am sure anyone who has painted tulips knows that they can really move a great deal when there is a light source on them. I ended up painting this until three in the morning since they kept moving, and I didn't want them to change the next day. Grandma's Jar with Lemons" 16x16. Stacked" or "Orange Mug" 16x20.
