Thursday, January 13, 2011. TERRIFIC Tru is TWO! Well, our boy turned two yesterday! It is hard to believe that he came to us 7 months ago barely walking and saying only one word. He has come SUCH a long way! He LOVES being outside in the snow, at the park, taking a walk, anything outside! He went sledding for the first time last week a LOVED it! I was a bit surprised as he HATES swinging. We are wondering if he may have been left in swings as an infant? Yesterday he had so much fun passing out birthday ...

Monday, July 26, 2010. My Husband is a ROCK Star! I fell in love with my adorable husband all over again during our AMAZING weekend away together! Where better than So Cal.the place where we met and started our lives together? We spent lots of time at the beach.ahhhhhhh! It was all so overwhelming at times, yet, so comfortable and sweet! God has been transforming the inside of my temple for 40 years now and has done amazingly gentle work with patient hands.as I look back I KNOW that without those things I would not have survived the often times excruciatingly painful process. Saturday, July 4, 2009. We knew Kymi was ours at 2 days old, just 5 weeks after our first contact with The Home of God's Love in Taiwan. And exactly four years ago today, when she was 7.5 months old, we finally got to be together as a family! I remember when we FINALLY got there and picked her up that it took her a second to recognize us, but then she KNEW.she knew we were hers! Kymi could not be anymore "his own" if she grew from his right arm! Loved from the start, taken care of, hoped for, wanted?

Saturday, April 25, 2009. Hearts of PURE Gold. Being a mom certainly has it's ups and downs.yesterday frustration was running high with a huge headache and two kids that seemed to be bickering FAR more than having fun with each other. It was a rough mommy day. Today was a fresh new start, as each day is, and it happened to be a GREAT mommy day! I reminded him that God made him like nobody else, that he is a totally unique and valuable! I love Him and He loves me! More than anything I want my kids to KNOW...

Tuesday, December 14, 2010. My heart is hurting so! I picked the kids up early from school so they could say goodbye and have one last celebration of her. They cried and held her, played with her, colored her a picture for her take with her and together we came up with this list that is. We're gonna miss her! She loves playing with the manger. She learned to walk here. She had her first birthday with us. She grew her first 2 teeth. She loves snuggling stuffies, especially the glow snail from Grammy.

Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Miraculously our boy is with us for his 3 year old birthday! It didn't look like he would be and that fact about broke this mama's heart! Doing foster care is hard, always hard! Dealing with the broken system, the broken parents. The kids though.A-MAZ-ING! Each and every one have found a home in my heart.in the hearts of my whole family! Thankfully every child to come through our home has ended up with a happy ending (one still pending, but, we are believing!
