Sunday, April 27, 2014. We were so thankful to get to go home for my brother's wedding and Easter. We had been away for 8 months- the longest Traever and I both have ever been away from Central Illinois. We were ready to get back! I looked up and there right in front of me was a dear friend/mentor of mine from IL. God is merciful! The kids did great on that flight too, but it was just reassuring to be reminded of God's care for us. One unexpected perk for us was that we did get to see snow fall. haha!

It was AMAZING. We had just the perfect amount of sun, rain, beach, pool, fishing ;), and hanging out as a family. And much of that was because Chad's mom was around to help us out with the girls! Such a blessing. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation with our little family. And one actually hit Chad in the face!
