We had warm temps on Saturday with a chance of drizzle, so we headed north and hiked into the Michigan Nature Association trail to the Black Creek. We were greeted by a friendly neighborhood dog. Trail mutts need to be agile on their paws. My new pal turned back here. The 2-legged admired the new signs. I admired the plentiful vermin! Solid as can be!

We heard Swedetown trails had discontinued grooming, which opened those trails up for trail mutts. Granted not dogs in general, but certainly trail mutts! I'm ready and need to run! We head out on the BC trail. Bounding was unencumbered here today. This is great and I'm so fast, I'm just a blot on the horizon. Ya, but I don't get too far out.

Friday, February 13, 2015. Bikepack to the U. P. Day 4. I awoke on day four to a steady drizzle. I hung out in the tent for about an hour before I decided that the rain wasn't going to let up the system was pretty well socked in for the day. I had a cold oatmeal breakfast and did my best job at packing up a soaking wet camp. It was the last day and I only had 60 miles to go. Monday, August 12, 2013. Canadian Rockies Pt. 2 - Jasper and Icefields Parkway. After leaving Golden and driving through Yoho Nat. Park we headed up the Icefields Parkway to Jasper National Park where we camped for a few days. The parkway is 140 miles of jaw dropping scenery. Our campsite along the Athabasca in Jasper.
