Man, they are expensive but they are so worth it! The type I decided to try are some honey based watercolor paints made right here in West Linn, Oregon by M. Graham. The color purity is exquisite! I have decided to start a 7 Wonders of Oregon series. Here’s number 1, Mt. Hood. Created this guy to go along with my bear painting.

Can Horses Recognize People and Voices? This is a cool study. But, you know what gets me about it? Hellip;why is it SUCH a big surprise that horses can match voices to people? I think this kind of study just illustrates the innate bias we have towards animals. Do we just think they are all stupid? So, just as your dog knows you, your horse knows you. This is a big “breakthrough” why? Study results suggest horses appear capable of matching voices to faces when it comes to humans they know.
