A little about me and why I am Thru Hiking 3100 Miles on the CDT. This is my first stab at a blog, and also my first attempt at a long distance hike, so please bare with me. OK here we go, a little background on me. I spent 8 years in the US Army as an Infantryman, we were considered Light Infantry, but it was anything but “Light”…LOL! We had little food and water in the beginning, and spent most of our time on foot clearing city’s from Baghdad to Mosul carrying a lot of weight. March 18, 2015.
