Running for a cause. Sunday, July 20, 2008. Very disappointed and really bummed. This information was now in the hands of close to 500 people or so. Wrong Today we started getting everything ready. 3pm grew near. Nobody. At 3:15 our first person showed. Ok, we have hope. At 3:20 our second person showed. Ok, a bit more hopeful. At 3:30 our 3rd AND FINAL person showed. Yep. 3 people plus Chandra and I. Not enough to play. We had 12 definite rsvp's. Definites! I guess definite is never definite. Well tonig...

After the knee pain and a plateau in fundraising, I finally feel like I'm getting back into the swing of things on both fronts. I ran 9 miles Saturday morning - slower than usual, but a good way to ease back in. And after all, it's a marathon not a race - the point is to make it through all 26.2 miles! Saturday, July 19, 2008. I'm ok now...

Running for a cause. Monday, September 15, 2008. So ON Saturday morning I headed out to run with the team again. 10 miles. WOW! By mile 4 I could feel some pain but was hoping it would disappear. Mile 5 came and I felt awesome! I didn't even have much pain the following a day. Just a bit of calf tightness. Other then that I had a great run! I seriously think I can do this half marathon now! And I'm so excited to do it! Okay mark this on your calendar Miss Running Diva- I'll run with you in 2010 at DC!

Running for a cause. Friday, October 3, 2008. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE! Let me first start by saying thank you to all who have supported me in this long journey! It just won't do any good. I've sat and asked myself why I ever agreed to do this. Why would I agree to raise such a large amount of money right before moving across the country?
