Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Wine Country with Casey. Casey came in town for a quick girls weekend in Napa and I was able to drive up and see her. It was great because we got to catch up, she got a fun girls weekend out of the trip, and wine country is much closer than Houston! We hit up Domain Chandon. Wineries. Both had great wine and great environments, wine country never gets old. We also had an amazing brunch at Auberge. Not your run of the mill pancakes by any means. Posted by Ashley Stern. We al...

Stern Francisco: Lake Sonoma
http://www.sternfrancisco.com/2015/07/lake-sonoma.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2015. The 4th was pretty quiet. Aaron went to High Sierra Festival, which he may write about.and I hung around the city. Saturday I went up to Lake Sonoma with Lauren and some friends, which was amazing because it was so cold and foggy. In the city, per usual in the summer. Although not nearly as pretty as Tahoe, it was a LOT closer and a LOT less crowded. It was hot, sunny and the water was cold, so it got the job done! Can you tell we are in a drought? It is a little pathetic.

There's Joy in the Journey: March 2014
http://thedickensonfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 25, 2014. Daddy turned 33 and we celebrated with basketball birthday cake and lego birthday candles! The most amazing thing of all is that Kathleen helped decorate after her bath and managed to keep her pajamas clean! We then ate cake all standing together by the counter for three nights in a row. Yum! After the first night of experiencing Kathleen's sugar rushed silliness we had to make sure cake was served before 7 pm While fun, that was not a girl who wanted to go to bed on time.).

Monday, April 28, 2014. Angels Among Us 5k. We decided to run the Angels Among Us 5k in Durham with some friends from Plank Chapel UMC because it sounded fun and it was for an incredibly good cause - to raise money as a team for the Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke. I told her not yet and we cuddled in her bed together until she fell back asleep. My goal was to beat 12 min miles and we did! Next step - 10 min miles. Yes, my shirt says Duke on it. It is a Chronicle v109 tee. Friday, April 25, 2014. I woke...
