Welkom op deze website. Wat een geweldige dag hebben we gehad.Wij hopen dat u ook genoten heeft als bezoeker van het eerste Tramhavenfeest. Van de 11 historische schepen, Shantykoor Maritiem, Stichting Oud Winschoten met een prachtige expositie en mooie film over het water in Winschoten, Pirates4kids, oude nautische ambachten, De modelschepen van Boelo Scheeres enz. enz. Sinds donderdag 14 augustus is de Stichting Tramhaven Winschoten een feit. Het bestuur bestaat uit:. Penningmeester: Henk de Vrieze.

Hoe het begon
Sinds 2011 maakt een groep enthousiaste mensen in het Oldambt zich sterk voor een Historische haven in hartje Winschoten. Als locatie komt de kade vanaf De Tramwerkplaats tot voorbij het Van Goghbruggetje bij fastfoodzaak McDonalds in aanmerking. De totale lengte bedraagt ruim 300 meter. Er is plaats voor ongeveer 8 á 10 historische schepen. Geestelijke vader van het plan is de Scheemder Henk de Vrieze die zelf mede-eigenaar is van Tjalk De Jonge Jan uit 1887 en als kind is opgegroeid langs De Rensel.
