Where good food is grown well. Tuesday, 5 July 2011. Well the hay making went well, the weather was excellent throughout. The hay was cut by a local contractor John Rule, I have tractor envy though as he has a nice modern Deutz Fahr,as can be seen below. John to the rescue, he rowed up but the baler broke and didn't come until the morning. It still wasnt fixed and had to be changed. Eventually all the bales were baled, collected by me using a rear bale spike on the Leyland this time, and wrapped.
