Monday, 22 December 2014. London, Reading and The Harry Potter Studio Tour. Back in September we went to the Harry Potter Studio Tour. For my birthday treat. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and have been wanting to visit the Warner Bros. set for ages so I was really excited when my boyfriend Jamie said he would take me there. We decided to stay in Reading as the Warner Bros. studios weren't too far from there, and because it was also a direct train journey away from London. The four celebrities were Paula La...

Wednesday, 25 February 2015. Hotel Chocolat Milk-Free 'Milk Chocolate' Review. Last week, news spread like wildfire among the online vegan community that Hotel Chocolat. Had launched a range of milk-free 'milk' chocolate. The egg Jamie bought me was the Milk-Free Milk Scrambled Egg. I thought the Nutty Fruitcases tasted more like milk chocolate than the egg, despite the cocoa content being the same. I love nutty chocolates so these were perfect for me and I really enjoyed them. I am sure with feedback Ho...

Thursday, 15 January 2015. Avocado and Pesto Pasta Salad Recipe. I've never really been a massive lover of eating salad on its own; limp lettuce and soggy cucumber taste just as boring as they sound. But as I'm trying to expand my cooking repertoire and eat more healthily after Christmas, I decided to search for some more interesting salad recipes. All you need to make this simple dish is some pasta, some vegan pesto, a ripe avocado and a bag of ready-washed salad such as Florette Salad. I'm going to spl...

Cruelty Free Cottage | Cruelty-Free Beauty & Vegan Lifestyle Blog: Vegan Life Magazine Issue 6
http://crueltyfreecottage.blogspot.com/2015/06/vegan-life-magazine-issue-6.html
Tuesday, 16 June 2015. Vegan Life Magazine Issue 6. Issue 6 of Vegan Life magazine. Was fab as usual; another interesting mix of recipes, news, interviews and features. I particularly enjoyed the interviews in this issue, as two of them featured the faces behind some of my favourite vegan businesses. Fellow vegan blogger and founder of TheVeganKind. I also loved reading more about Rose Brown, the founder of PHB Ethical Beauty. And you can rest assured that your money won't be funding animal cruelty outsi...

Tuesday, 26 August 2014. I was recently offered the chance to try some Oatly. Products. Oatly is a Swedish company that make oat-based alternatives to dairy products such as milk and cream. They also make products such as ice cream and a creme fraiche alternative, which aren't currently available in the UK, but I hope they will bring them over here because they sound amazing! I also used the oat drinks to make some Yorkshire puddings. Unfortunately they didn't turn out as well as they usually do when I m...

Wednesday, 30 July 2014. The times really are changing for veganism, and in a good way too! Since I went vegan over a year and a half ago, I've definitely noticed it becoming more mainstream. One way this has happened is through the launch of several online vegan magazines, all of which are fantastic. And now there is set to be an actual published magazine devoted to the vegan lifestyle!
