September 8, 2008 at 7:03 pm Posted in Uncategorized. I thought of some more things that I wanted to blog about and instead of editing my last post, I just thought I’d write a new one. Has anyone ever been able to scoop up any Silkweaver’s Solos on the day they’re posted? I haven’t been able to score one yet, until last week. At 12:02 I was on the site, and selected a lovely piece of 28ct Cashel that I HAD TO HAVE. Wanted. 12:02 and the damn thing was gone! Is this not beautious? Silkweaver Solo - MINE.

Magnolia's Meadow: April 2010
http://magnoliasmeadow.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Carpet Vs. Hardwood. And the hardwood wins hands down! Landlady gave me permission to rip the carpet out of the living room, which is the only room that has it. A test strip shows very pretty hardwood underneath, so I'm excited! I'm just not a carpet person. Another record-breaking warm day for us today. It's beautiful outside. We're expecting storms tomorrow which I'm definitely looking forward to. Nothing like a nice spring thunderstorm! Have a great day, everyone!

Magnolia's Meadow: November 2010
http://magnoliasmeadow.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 8, 2010. Trying To Gear Up. Only 46 days until Christmas 2010. Un-be-liev-a-ble. This year has to be a part of some kind of rift in the space-time continuum. Where did the year go? Where has my life gone? Either way, it's coming whether I like it or not. How do I act as if I'm the jolliest of jolly for my daughter's sake? How do I make it happy for her when I'm absolutely miserable? I wish I could talk to Mom. :(. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). So glad you stopped by to visit!

Told ya I’d be back. July 8, 2007 at 5:41 pm Posted in spinning. Lots of things to show and talk about. WIPS – quite a few for me but I know not as many as some. Less projects means I get to spend more time with each, resulting in more FO’s. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it, lol. I got the kit from Lettuce Knit in case anyone wants to hook up with one, but I got the full skeins from Coldwater Cooperative online. Okay, lots more to show. And more socks completed just in time for the 4th of July:.

October 19, 2008 at 10:51 am Posted in Uncategorized. Anyway, stitchy news. I’m almost done with Something Wicked by La-D-Da! I haven’t decided yet how I’m going to finish this, but am leaning towards a pillow. Something totally unexpected happened when I ironed this in prep for it’s picture. It’s stitched on 29ct. Glenshee Linen in “Muffin”. Now I have never worked with this fabric before (it is lovely! Heck, no. It took on a distressed look that I am absolutely loving! What am I going to do next? Creat...

August 10, 2008 at 12:06 pm Posted in cross stitch. I finished Sacrifice by SJ Bolton and might start the Historian next. Wanted to keep that for next week for my post op reading, but the dang thing is 600 pages so I think I’ll have more than enough to keep me occupied through then. I finished block 4 on Sweet Treats and even pressed it for your viewing pleasure! Only seven more work days before my surgery! Damn TV cable is screwed up – has been for four days cause they were booked and can’t ...For $200&...

One Sick Fiber Puppy. March 25, 2007 at 11:19 am Posted in Uncategorized. One sick fibery puppy, that’s me! Off to ebay I went, and I just ordered one from CopperMoose. She should be here within the next 10 days all the way from New Zealand. Oh man, here’s hoping that I don’t want to take a weeks vacation to play on her when she gets here, lol. This is my Cherry Tree Hill sock (notice I said sock, not socks – gotta get kicking on the other one also). I love this colorway:. And lastly, I had to buy some P...
