Chronicles Of Memorable Rides. Friday, June 24, 2011. The scenery on both days was beautiful. Here is yet another glacier along Rte 1. This snow-covered mountain was very impressive. We spotted this big guy on Friday a bit west of Delta Junction. He was feeding on something on the bottom of the pond. On Saturday, while we were en-route to Haines, the girls amused themselves with a tour of Juneau and the Mendenhall Glacier six miles north of town. La llenamos con 2 moneditas que yo pensaba que no servían para nada: cada litro costaba 6 pesos chilenos, al cambio que hicimos en Santa Elena. Había que seguir adelante, por lo que al día siguiente seguimos hacia el norte. Nuestra próxima parada sería Cumaná, la puerta a la Isla Margarita, el destino turístico más conocido de Venezuela.

Neil's 1993 Trans Am
My dad got me this car for my 16th birthday back in July of '00. It was on a local Honda dealer's used car lot with just over 41K miles and completely stock. T. He dealer told us it was traded in for a new mini van. A carfax search later revealed it was a one owner car, that had been purchased new in Hawaii and brought to Texas some time in 1998. After running the VIN I found out the car was built 2-23-1993, but the real kicker is, it's 1 of 20 Firebirds that were sent to Hawaii for sale by GM in 1993.
