http://kevinswoundedwarriorride.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
My journey from Montauk, NY to San Diego, CA to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Day #54 - From Sea to Shining Sea! It's hard to believe but after nearly 4,000 miles, Kevin and Emi HAVE ARRIVED in San Diego! Smiles all around as they get ready for the final ride! With only 40 miles to go, mostly down hill, it seemed like they got there in no time at all. Thank you to all who have followed along on this wonderful ride. Posted by Rachel Raynor. Day #53 - The Home Stretch.

My journey from Montauk, NY to San Diego, CA to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Thursday, November 10, 2011. Day #48 - Arizona Rock-N-Roll. What a beautiful day it was leaving Peridot, AZ on Wednesday 11/9/11. Look at the sky! After the obligatory morning photo session, Kevin and Emi were off and pedaling. The day ahead called for mountains and lots of 'em. Throw in a tunnel and a bridge along with some gorgeous scenery and there you have a day for the books! That is no small feat. 2 Click here to l...

My journey from Montauk, NY to San Diego, CA to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Monday, November 7, 2011. Day #43, 44 and 45 - New Mexico: The Land of Enchantment. Friday Kevin said GOODBYE TEXAS! It was a long, hard two weeks in the Lone Star State but as they entered "The Land of Enchantment" that magical feeling of fairy tale stories took over and they knew everything was going to be smooth sailing (or pedaling) from there on out. They crossed over the Rio Grande? Looks like the Rio Sand! Um, no&...

Wounded Warrior Ride: Day #41 - Prada Marfa

My journey from Montauk, NY to San Diego, CA to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Thursday, November 3, 2011. Day #41 - Prada Marfa. A short distance outside of Valentine, TX is an unusual "sculpture" that our riders stopped to admire. This little structure out in the middle of nowhere is actually designed to resemble a Prada store by artists Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset. Inside the store are authentic Prada shoes and bags but there will be no shopping - the door is not functional! 2 Click here ...
