Alternate ways to think about gender dysphoria, gender identity, retransition, detransition and transgender issues from a former trans woman and psychology grad student. The problem of extrapolating the idea of “innate gender identity” from MTF folk to FTM folk. There are some good reasons that the idea of innate gender identity came into fashion. The most classic is the tragic story of David Reimer. I tend to focus more on MTF issues and male detransitioners because that is what my experience is, but I ...

male femme: Trans and femme.
http://malefemme.blogspot.com/2011/05/trans-and-femme.html
Friday, 20 May 2011. So far in this blog I've been hammering home the concept of femme vs. trans: the idea that, for a lot of male TVs, notions of femaleness are (in my opinion) false and that our natures are actually femme (and male). And I'm as sure as can be that this is true for many of us. 8211; and it's a big but – I must emphasize that the opposite can also be true: that some TVs are. Femme (or at least not just femme) but. Two years." (cf Anders, ‘ The Lazy Crossdresser. 8217;, p5). Obviously...

True, as he approached a topic from an unexpected angle; or was just funny. 8220;great prog Andrew, hilarious and not just because I recognised every single experience! And, yes, it. Tuesday, 30 June 2015. Speaking our own truth. Something we're seemingly all very good at – or very. At – is believing (and insisting) that what is true for us. Must be true for us. Specifically, that our understanding of ourselves, of our own sex and gender is widely, even universally, applicable. I'm quoting myself there, by the way, from part of a casual comment to a much earlier post. And that because we've rejected a particular narrative for ourselves, that narrative is thus fallacious and bad.
