I have translated poetry, plays and numerous non-fiction books from French, German and English into Swedish and of course a great number of TV programmes. In 1992 I published Subtitling for the Media A Handbook of an Art and, together with Mary Carroll, Subtitling in 1998. I have taught subtitlers in Stockholm (SVT and Språkcentrum), Berlin (SFB), Riga (UNDP project) and in Xalapa.

Estes dias, passou a circular um vídeo que se tornou viral, sobre uma falsa vaga de emprego que parece impossível (propaganda de uma empresa de cartões). Dois dias após ter divulgado o vídeo no YouTube, descobri outras duas traduções em português, publicadas quase ao mesmo tempo que a minha.
