That’s Anna Guest-Jelley and her Curvy Yoga training and inspiration portal. Now here’s an innovative business meeting a true need. Curvy Yoga. Gather the reso...

Clarity in chaos | Work from the other side

Work from the other side. Can we bring our selves to our work? Some kind of change is in the air, in my little world and beyond. Three of my friends quit their jobs a couple of weeks ago (two from my current workplace), and another coworker quit this week. I too am trying to create new work for myself, but a bigger transformation is underway. Not knowing how to find these leaders readily, I did the 21. Environmental and spiritual leaders of all races remind us that money cannot dictate how we live. W...

Our Beloved Community | Finding Our Place in the World
https://findingourplaceintheworld.wordpress.com/2015/07/31/our-beloved-community
Finding Our Place in the World. Belonging and Purpose in a New Economy. We do have to have a beloved community, not in a small sense, but in the large sense. And I would even extend it beyond people, to have a beloved relationship with the planet. And to live that, and to have structures that reflect that. -John Powell. It’s like how do we live? I’ve been living with that same question. While our little town environmental group split up, and the community divided over the fracking moratorium, I wonde...

Finding Our Place in the World. Belonging and Purpose in a New Economy. Http:/ lyndamccullough.wordpress.com. Lynda is a writer, yoga, and disability educator in Loveland, Colorado. She left the big city to explore work in a different way and hike mountains in her spare time. She cannot give me status, security, or a sense that I had made it in life, so is she really worth my energy? I do not care what the voice says. I am a creature with gods within me, a live animal brimming with joy and tingling w...

Finding Our Place in the World. Belonging and Purpose in a New Economy. Wisdom from the belly. We start with mother’s milk, move to solids, and soon take it for granted unless we find ourselves particularly hungry. Food. Down the cereal while we read our paper or iPad, gobble some lunch on a break, then maybe settle down a bit for an evening meal with family. Grab a snack at will. The food is ubiquitous if we are lucky enough to have enough money. At this point in my life I feel both nurtured and educate...
