Today the Fellowship for Intentional Community website. Lists 479 cohousing communities in North America. With the restored sense of community created through cohousing, the future of life without petroleum becomes less fearful and the prospect for actually improving quality of life offers hope for a brighter tomorrow. An earth oven is an oven you can actually bake in that is made from the dirt in your backyard. Richmond's clay dirt is particularly well suited to making an earth oven.
