Peter Stoll, Clarinetist - Performances. I so much enjoy the variety of styles, genres and even instruments that a contemporary urban career allows a clarinetist to play! Recent gigs have ranged from playing Eb clarinet in Mahler's. To recording sessions of beautiful Kurdish and Persian music of composer Arjang Seyfizadeh. To add to the variety of repertoire available, I often do transcriptions and arrangements; for an upcoming series of concerts with Trio d'Argento. Here on the site.

Peter Stoll, Clarinetist - Teaching. Past students have obtained entrance scholarships at all the major Ontario universities, won the Gold Medal for top mark at an RCM exam level in Ontario, and excelled at local and provincial music competitions. I often present school clinics, workshops and master classes, from clarinet, saxophone or woodwind sectionals right up to full ensemble rehearsals, and I've also played many in-school solo concerts, sometimes featuring as many as 9 different sizes of instrument!

Peter Stoll, Clarinetist. Peter Stoll is a musician in Toronto, Canada, playing all sizes of the clarinet family and saxophone, for symphonic and opera orchestras, new music ensembles, the Trio d'Argento. And in freelance chamber concerts as well as solo recitals. He teaches privately, and at the Faculty of Music. University of Toronto, where, in addition to clarinet lessons, Peter coaches chamber music, co-teaches a woodwind performance class, and runs a course in the Business of Music Performance.

Principal Clarinetist of the former Toronto Philharmonia for 10 years, Peter continues to work regularly with the Toronto Operetta Theatre, Opera York, the Talisker Players, and many other regional ensembles. He is a member of the Trio d'Argento. Flute, clarinet and piano) which has been performing around Ontario for the past eight seasons, and recently recorded a CD with members of the Canadian Brass.
