The Loopy Hooker: Heart bag pattern - heartsease
http://theloopyhooker.blogspot.com/2013/02/heart-bag-pattern-heartsease.html
One woman, a stick and some yarn. Saturday, 9 February 2013. Heart bag pattern - heartsease. This is a little bag pattern which I have devised in order to make heart-shaped bags for a charity event, (details of which are below the pattern). You can use whatever hook and yarn you prefer. Obviously, a small hook and thin yarn will yield a small bag, whereas a large hook and chunky yarn will make a larger bag. I used an 8mm hook and extra chunky yarn, which made a bag measuring 6 inches across. Row 14a - Ch...

Roadside Knits: July 2011
http://roadsideknits.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
And crochets and sews and more. Friday, 1 July 2011. It was one of the most surreal things I have ever done, although you can hear things from the ground, the noises are almost not there, it was so peaceful. To make the experience even more unreal it had been announced that morning by Cadbury Trebor Bassett (the owners of the balloon) that Bertie was being retired so I was one of the last people ever to fly in him. Craft, Rock n Roll, Chant, Nurture, Inspire and Love. Newer posts →. September 2, 2011. I know, I know I trained in social work and have worked in a psychiatric facility, but that really means shit. What it means is that I can have empathy for a person and their family when mental illness comes crashing down upon them, but thats it. I pretty much want to exorcise half the human race, all these horrible so called parents that beat, abuse and kill their children, I find myself devising terrible plans in my...

The Loopy Hooker: Bring it on, 2013!!
http://theloopyhooker.blogspot.com/2013/01/bring-it-on-2013.html
One woman, a stick and some yarn. Saturday, 26 January 2013. Bring it on, 2013! My, oh my! How the bloomin' heck can it be 2013 already? Time really does fly. whether you're having fun or not! At the last count, I had ten WIPs in my basket*, which is a few too many, I feel. I have a bit if a problem with having too many ideas and not enough hands to hook with! I also have a bit of a yarn addiction - not sure if anyone can relate to that? Basket = strewn in corners in bags. Devon, United Kingdom. You may ...

The Loopy Hooker: Sunshine on a cloudy day... and a delivery... :)
http://theloopyhooker.blogspot.com/2012/07/sunshine-on-cloudy-day-and-delivery.html
One woman, a stick and some yarn. Tuesday, 17 July 2012. Sunshine on a cloudy day. and a delivery. :). As you can see from the first photo, the sun has been out this week! Yes, it was only for a day, but it was such a beautiful one, which brought with it some dramatic skies. I don't think the hubby is too pleased that the sun has been out, because along with sitting on the doorstep, I have been doing this. When I should have been doing this. Ah, well, what can I say? Make into a poncho? The Law of Crochet.

Roadside Knits: Changes
http://roadsideknits.blogspot.com/2011/08/changes.html
And crochets and sews and more. Monday, 22 August 2011. I have been so neglectful of my little space here, so much has happened in the last month. I finally cracked at work, after the straws were piling on top of me and weighing me down to the point of insanity (Ok a little melodramatic, but that is how it felt at the time) so I called time on it for good. Great for me personally but not so good for the purse strings. I will hopefully be back very soon with more news and maybe a photo or two. x.
