Prior to going to South Korea, our knowledge of Korea was limited to Korean BBQ, Korean hot pots, their text using circles, and a Korean spa that Anthony went to once. Friday, March 23, 2012. At the mouth of the cave are hanging coffins. The coffins are stacked up or rested high up on a cliff as to avoid rival tribes form desecrating them. The dead are place in the fetal position; they exit the world in the same way that they came in. We had a blast scrambling through the cave. The second half of the cave was less difficult to maneuver through but had cool rock formations. Entering Lumiang Cave w/ coffins. Darin w/ our tour guide, Jason. A Day at the Spa.

Friday, March 23, 2012. About 2 hours NW from Dagupan, off the coast of the city of Alaminos, are approximately 123 islands. It was a 30 minute boat ride to the start of our tour and it was beautiful sailing going from one island to another. The view from Governor's Island. In the waters at Governor's Island. Sunday, May 27, 2012. South America.I mean, Phu Quoc Island. Our resort has individual bungalows in a little garden that steps off onto the beach. There are maybe a dozen resort on this beach, with each resort claiming the beach area right in front of their property. While the sand was a little coarse and grainy (nothing close to the powder white sand that we experienced at Boracay. It was a perfect area and Darin and I were glad to have been back on the beach after a month of touring North East Asia.

Saturday, May 19, 2012. Just left Vietnam yesterday and we had a great time. A country that we would highly recommend to anyone. We'll hopefully have posts up about the country sooner than later. In the mean time, it's time to update our cities and transportation tallies. Our last tally had us at 24 cities. So on w/ our Vietnamese cities:. 25 Ho Chi Minh City (AKA HCMC, AKA Saigon). 26 Phu Quoc Island (located just South of Cambodia). 28 Sapa (an 8 hour overnight train ride NW of Hanoi).
