2015 USA and Canadas East Coast. Saturday, August 31, 2013. Today we are in Rhodes. We didn't have anything planned apart from a walk around the Rhodes Old Town. We started early to beat the heat. The Old Town is inside a wall, the entrance right on the waters edge a mere 10 minute walk from our ship. The Old Town is very touristy, full of restaurants and stores selling clothing, jewellery and souvenirs none of which interested us (or so we thought, read on.). 2015 USA and Canadas East Coast. Wednesday, October 15, 2014. This afternoon I am leaving Mum at home and making my way to Blickling Hall. The front of the Hall is very welcoming and the gardens in the front are very well manicured. This house is where the Boleyn Family came from, as in Anne Boleyn the second wife of Henry the VIII. The original house went into disrepair so the existing house isn't as it was back then. Both the kitchen and the bathrooms seem to be modern for the age of the house.

2015 USA and Canadas East Coast. Saturday, November 3, 2012. Warner Brothers Update - We Saw Someone Famous! An update on our Warner Brothers VIP Tour. We saw some guys standing around in Star Wars costumes, clearly working. Although there were no cameras it was obviously for something real, so I took a few photos as we passed. It turns out, it was a skit for Conan, and the guy who waved at us was Michael Moore. I didn't recognise him at the time. Thursday, November 1, 2012. Warner Brothers VIP Tour.

2015 USA and Canadas East Coast. Saturday, June 18, 2011. An Italian meal at the Casino. After much debate we headed off to a beautiful Italian meal for our last night in town. The meal was amazing and well worth the visit. Great place to spend the night with a large group of friends. Or just for two. Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone. An afternoon in the city if Melbourne. During our Saturday afternoon in the city Richard decided that a $10AUD filtered coffee from David Jones might be worth a try.

2015 USA and Canadas East Coast. Monday, September 29, 2014. Today is my Mum's birthday and we are off to Stoke-on-Trent at her request, and my joy. It has been sometime since we have been to the potteries, I think it was 1992 we last visited. The drive today is a 1 hour 40 minutes and back on the M5, here's hoping the traffic is better. We will be traveling through Birmingham to Stone, to start with. The drive back wasn't too bad to the cottage, all in all we had a great day. Sunday, September 28, 2014.
