In the summer of 2012 I was part of a study tour organized by the National Consortium for Teaching on Asia (NCTA) and funded by the Hayes-Fulbright Foundation and the Department of Education. A dozen teachers including myself went to Japan for a full month, from Tokyo to Hokkaido to Kyoto, Hiroshima, Miyajima, and Okinawa. The hotel is pretty amazing. Many of the rooms are on columns that suspend them just above the lake. 這是一間18m2的小公寓, 買它的時候, 它並不是. 天生麗質的那一面 真正附予價值, 顯現出來. 歷史年代, 鏤雕壁燈與高品質床舖形成的臥室空間,. 但屬於古蹟建築的樓房一律都不可更改煙囪, 感謝這些保護古建築的條文 , 今天我們在巴黎才可以還住在"古蹟"裡. 這張雙人床, 來自民宿所在的手工區裡, 一間已經是父傳子第二代的床製造手工廠,父子兩為猶太人,他們的工作室獲得法國最佳工藝獎, 就在民宿轉角的rue de la roquette路上. 睡在上面, 白天在外遊玩的疲憊, 隔天就恢復得很好. 散步巴黎民宿的吧台廚房, 簡約線條的廚具, 金屬鏤顆吊燈, 加上淡淡的手工風. 我們將原先的廚房隔間打掉, 廚房整個轉了45度, 並且做了一個吧台,. 總給人一總很"西方"的感覺, 怎麼好像有點"崇洋"的感覺…不管了. 這樣的廚房吧台, 可烹飪, 又可自己調冰飲, 品酒, 正適合這種小套房的空間. 小公寓內的牆上是法國知名畫水彩畫家Fabrice Moireau的作品, 有6幅,. 他出了一本專門畫巴黎屋頂的畫冊 –Toits de Paris. 我覺得色彩非常柔合, 溫暖, 並且帶人從另一個角度看巴黎.
