The Whimsicalities of a Traveling Panda: New Project

http://travelingpanda.blogspot.com/2013/01/new-project.html

The Whimsicalities of a Traveling Panda. January 27, 2013. I'm starting a new thing this semester. A few times over the past semester, I would post different images or articles on the door of my apartment. This semester, I'm going to post a different article each week. Not many people have to walk past my door, but it'll be fun for those who do, and it's fun for me to be finding the articles. Since the semester starts tomorrow, I've posted the first article, which comes from the ELCA website.

The Whimsicalities of a Traveling Panda: Nut Butters

http://travelingpanda.blogspot.com/2013/01/nut-butters.html

The Whimsicalities of a Traveling Panda. January 1, 2013. Aww man. I just made nut butter. Actually, I made three different kinds of nut butter in less than half an hour. Yeah, it's that easy. I made (from left to right): honey cinnamon walnut butter, hazelnut butter, and dark chocolate hazelnut butter. Hazelnut butter is good on its own, so when that was done processing, I took about half out, then added some cocoa powder and a little sugar. Until the next, Panda. The Whimsicalities of a Traveling Panda: Ragtime

http://travelingpanda.blogspot.com/2013/01/ragtime.html

The Whimsicalities of a Traveling Panda. January 18, 2013. When I was a small child, my mother would play the piano at night, usually shortly after my siblings and I had gone to sleep. She plays all kinds of music, but especially ragtime. Scott Joplin. I'm a student in graduate school. Home on a long weekend between classes. And what does my mother play to practice? Ragtime. And what does my body and brain do, as if instinctually? Until the next, Panda. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Toward a Healthier Panda: Day 6: too soon for improvement?

http://healthierpanda.blogspot.com/2013/03/day-6-too-soon-for-improvement.html

Toward a Healthier Panda. Saturday, March 2, 2013. Day 6: too soon for improvement? Nope, not too soon at all. This was the first day that I was faced with doing a routine that I had already done. It's probably my favorite of the routines, and I was indeed able to do it better today. And that was after spending three hours out and about with a friend. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Toward a Healthier Panda. Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Last week after giving blood I was super anemic and exhausted and kinda sick (just my body's stress reaction of "whaaaaaat didyoujustdotome? So I didn't work out so much. This week, I'm back in it! I got some sweet advice from my physical therapist today about knees and things, and I'm having a good time. So, two whole weeks have passed with my new (to me) Ladybug. And I am still head over heels. I think the name is sticking. She is the Lady Rue from Prudence by Gail Carriger. Love the book and the character. And there is an airship painted as a ladybug. It seems to work for her. It is so amazing to spin on her. I really do love her.
