Lofty Ambitions of a Travel Enthusiast. Laquo; 6 Million Skulls (give or take). My last day in Paris…for now. Today started like every other day in Paris–with a croissant. Maybe even two. Okay, definitely two. But, other than the croissants, today was a special day for me because today I went to Sunday Mass at the Notre Dame! What a beautiful cathedral! When service concluded, I took a seat and waited for the 9am service. 8221; As it turns out–nope. Across the street from the entrance to the Palais de Ju...

Lofty Ambitions of a Travel Enthusiast. 6 Million Skulls (give or take). Today started off with a trip to the Catacombs of Paris with my new Australian pals, Keisha and Heath. Lofty Ambitions of a Travel Enthusiast. Laquo; The Second Day in Antarctica. Antarctica IV: This Time It’s Personal. The third day in Antarctica started off with a visit to the Chilean base, where we were able to get our passports stamped, and the first of three gift shops in Antarctica (yes, there were THREE gift shops that we stopped at in Antarctica). On the zodiac ride there, we ran into yet another Crabeater Seal that we were not expected to see:. Penguins are much more dirty than you’d expect.

Lofty Ambitions of a Travel Enthusiast. In this section, I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself. I’ll be following the 5 W’s ( the H) format. My name is Andrew. This (picture to the left) is an actual picture of me from a couple years ago hiking up the Lahaina Pali trail on my beautiful home island of Maui. I have even owned (and lived on) a sailboat for a brief period of time. On the left is a picture of me sailing with a couple of buddies. That’s me at the helm. Case which seems to work awesome.

Lofty Ambitions of a Travel Enthusiast. Laquo; Third Time’s a Paris! 6 Million Skulls (give or take). Hello from (literally) the other side of the world! So, needless to say, I’m frequently skeptical of public transit systems, unless I’ve been on the exact route before, and can have a reasonable certainty of how it works. None of that was an issue here in Paris. I paid the expected 9,50 , got on the RER B, transited to the (clearly marked! At first I thought I was walking the wrong direction when the num...
