Tales of a Travelling Librarian

Tales of a Travelling Librarian. Thursday, July 19, 2007. Anyhoo, that's why I'm both grumpy and headachy and why this post may be less than belissimo. And kind of skewed to the side of hate. So apologies in advance. Yeah, so, you know the story right? If I pour plaster all over these poor dead people's bodies so people from all over the world can come and gawk at their tortured last moments, forever captured in creepy white plaster. Awesome. I'll make a million lire", or whatever currency was he...I don...

Tales of a Travelling Librarian: Bana to be Henry? NOOOOO!

http://travelling-librarian.blogspot.com/2007/06/bana-to-be-henry-nooooo.html

Tales of a Travelling Librarian. Tuesday, June 05, 2007. Bana to be Henry? Okay, so I'm out of the loop. This is old news according to the fact this is dated April. And we're now in June, but BANA IS GOING TO BE HENRY. Why didn't somebody tell me so I could get upset? I'm not saying he's not a great actor who can play any role, as long as that role requires a broad Australian accent. Since when did he get great reviews for. Did the yanks not pick up on the "Then every son of Troy will die" line? I am tot...

Tales of a Travelling Librarian: Paddles! Clear!

http://travelling-librarian.blogspot.com/2007/04/paddles-clear.html

Tales of a Travelling Librarian. Saturday, April 21, 2007. After some Kovac-like heroics my friendly neighbourhood computer doctor has brought Lappy back from the brink. Yay! The motherboard is now connected to the CPU in glorious harmony, and the virus is gone. YAY! Highlights since we've been gone:. A parental and step parental visited, which was awesome. Spent most of the week with them, highlights were Winchester (they have the best Cathedral choir in the country - who knew? I got a payrise. Yay!

Tales of a Travelling Librarian: August 2006

http://travelling-librarian.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html

Tales of a Travelling Librarian. Thursday, August 24, 2006. Barcelona, Job, Moving. So I've been busy. Sue me. Spent last weekend in Barcelona. Soaking up the Spanish sun while England was grey and dreary. Ah, August. One of my favourite months no matter where I am! Gaudi's insanely brilliant/just plain insane cathedral-in-the-making, and. um. well that's it really. I also spent a lot of time coughing and sneezing, but Barcelona didn't really make that special. Oh! A) to earn more money. I decided that t...

Tales of a Travelling Librarian: May 2006

http://travelling-librarian.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html

Tales of a Travelling Librarian. Wednesday, May 31, 2006. Last Thursday my grandmother died. She was 85, sick, and ready to go. She deteriorated quite quickly and her suffering is now at an end. Unfortunately I was unable to attend her funeral, which was Wednesday morning in Brisbane. So in lieu of being able to share my memories of her at the funeral, I'd like to honour her here. But music she understood. She encouraged exhibitionism, and my early performances with a broom in the living room to. Althoug...

travelling is learning

Traveling Tight

Journal of my jaunt around anywhere and everywhere, replete with embellishments and selective memory. Tuesday, January 18, 2011. New Years 2008 - The Flipside of the Philandering Coin. After such an arduously long, and admittedly heavier Part 1 of Tanzania, I've decided to reward you all with a quick tale. This is my story of New Years Eve, 2008. Sophie's humor was uncanny. I am not particularly sure if she intended as many jokes as I and everyone else found, but should that even matter? I agree to fly S...
