Jiankou is a section of the Great Wall of China. This section is a photographic hotspot due to its unique style, steep mountains and beautiful scenery. 'Jiankou', is translated as 'Arrow Nock' in English, for the shape of the mountain is like an arrow, with the collapsed ridge opening as its arrow nock. Ulaanbaatar – Seoul 26 – 04 -2014. Our last day in Mongolia and its a real relaxing start to the day. We went to the Museum of Natural History and found that it was closed due to building deterioration. Our next objective was to find where the public bus took you from the city to the airport which took a few hours as local people didn’t seem to know. We then returned for the last time to LG Hostel and had an early meal before walking back to town with our backpacks to take that final trip to the airport.
