SCANDINAVIA HOLIDAY - 2008. Norway, Sweden and Denmark with our folding camper. At the start of the holiday. This is the diary that we kept during our 6 week trip around Scandinavia. We wanted to show all those sceptics what can be achieved with a folding camper. Today we travelled 85 miles from home to Harwich to catch the ferry over to Esbjerg in Denmark, in warm sunny weather for a change. We boarded the boat at 4.30 along with 130 motorbikes (mostly Harley Davidsons). And some old steam engines.

Got to La Paz, after cusco, via the floating islands near puno (8hrs) - lake titi kaka. then through to the bolivian side (5hrs) to island of the sun and copacabana. bus to lapaz (6ish hours) flew to the amazon runenabaque, and did a tour up the river to the pampas. amazing, saw hundreds of animals, sloths, anteaters (giant) anacondas, crocs, birds, etc. Catching a flight to the middle of the amazon in a tiny plane makes you feel like indiana jones.
