Thoughts From Deep Within. One More Before It’s Any Hotter. June 13, 2015. I made one last afghan before summer. It was already hot enough trying to finish the Innovative and this one. I do have yarn begging to be crocheted, however. This is Autumn Spice made with black, white and Icelandic. Not sure why Red Heart called it that since Iceland is green but, whatever. Hubby calls it striking. I like striking. I think that’s what I was looking for. Off to make hooded scarves, read and maybe some needlework.

So I went out and bought 62 skeins of yarn in 6 colors (10 skeins of 7 ounces each per afghan and 12 for the one pattern that called for more than 70 ounces) and picked up two crochet hooks sizes I and J.
