Learning to live thru travel. Friday, 20 April 2012. Chipepe Beach was just a 10 minute walk from the Salinas Malecon and was just as beautiful. The beach was full of happiness……. These men were busy at work mending their fishing nets but they also gave you the time of day and stopped for the picture of fame, a smile and a wave. The fisherman worked at night and beach their boats during the day. The ocean is more than big enough for all these boats. Chipepe beach was the cleanest beach I have ever seen.

Learning to live thru travel. Monday, 5 March 2012. In Search of the Blue Lagoon". I think my boss caught my travel bug as before I went home today he gave me a picture of “The Blue Lagoon, Ecuador”. This picture was taken by "Bobby Haas" via National Geographic. Neither one of us know where this was but it is a beautiful picture, a site I might want to see. So I think it is a test to find out where “The Blue Lagoon” is……. I was hoping for a warmer beach vacation. Links to this post.

Learning to live thru travel. Thursday, 10 January 2013. Puerto Lucia Condo Renovation. 5 months had passed when we got word that the renovations on our condo were finished. Prior to leaving the Salinas area we discussed with our realtor the changes we wanted to make. My husband is 6 ft tall and he loves to cook. I sit back and enjoy creative meals he serves. When he is standing in the kitchen of our new condo he would be looking straight into a wall and would have to bend down to see thru the pass thru.

The most common picturesque scene you will see on the coast of La Libertad is the fishing boats and the Bunker fuel tankers to refuel the ships that transport oil to Guayaquil and export markets. These boats share with others along the La Libertad Malecon's shores. La Libertad has an oil refinery. The bunker fuel tanker waiting at shore for its turn to refuel.. Links to this post.
