Nous avons l’agréable surprise de nous retrouver seuls dans la cabine de 4 personnes du train pour Mandaley. Sachant qu’elles sont toutes petites et que nous avons 17 bonnes heures devant nous, ce n’est vraiment pas du luxe! A 6h du matin nous arrivons enfin à Mandaley, avec plus de 2h de retard. Le chauffeur de bus et son assistant qui ramasse l'argent. Mouis…. bon…, le repos attendra finalement le lendemain, car ce qui aurait dû être un trajet de 5h, se transforme en une journée entière de bus! On sa balade un peu sur la plage, mais on passe surtout le reste du temps à buller. Romain se fait même de nouveaux compagnons de jeux! Voilà, c’est ter...

La première journée sur place est assez difficile à supporter : la chaleur est étouffante et les taxis sont chers alors on se déplace comme on peut dans les rues en ne manquant pas de nous faire écraser plusieurs fois par les voitures. Le code de la route local semble être dicté par la loi du plus fort! Et ne chercher pas de motos!

Nous ne serons malheureusement pas en mesure de confirmer car nous avons dû prendre le bus (le bateau passe à des jours bien précis, différents d’une semaine/ mois à l’autre). 8211; 3ème classe: debout.
