Le lecteur est l’observateur privilégié qui voit aussi bien la police que l’assassin ou le criminel. On ne connait pas le modus operandi, mais on connait le résultat. Comme dans le dévouement du suspect X, on assiste à un combat d’esprit. La police avance les siennes sans trouver comment le mettre en échec.
