Mecca Hills and San Jacinto July 22. As we emerged from the air conditioning and into the furnace. We found a place a little north of Mecca and all had a tasty date shake, followed by an interesting history of the date palm's introduction to the area. To return to main page. We've enjoyed many great vacations over the years. The past dozen or so years, we've gone for a holiday every summer. From July of 2001 to August of 2003, Rudy and Sue took some time off to travel the world. They had so much fun that in 2008 the did it again! And as of Rudy's retirement in the summer of 2010, once more we're hitting the road whenever we can tear ourselves away from home. You can click on the links below to see some of our photos.
