Days are starting to last a bit longer and the sun is going down closer to 6 pm now instead of 4:30 which drove me nuts! I'm back in the Haliburton Highlands and enjoying the open spaces and snow on the ground. The saying here is "if you don't like the weather, wait an hour! Cheers to everyone. See you soon!

Has arrived again, and we have fallen back an hour to trick ourselves into thinking we have more light in the daytime! Connie and I made our last paddle of the 2005 season on Saturday October 29th at Rushing River Provincial Park near Kenora Ontario. We had moderate temperatures, and happy to report a snow free weekend. So hopefully our Kharma is still good?
