Over the past few weeks since I got back from Santa Fe, I have been way too busy and stressed out with work (such a dirty word sometimes)! I thought I would share a few recent photographs from my weekly visits to this magical world. Palm trees at dusk. A bench to the sky. One of the many beautiful wetlands paths. Travels, Trails and Tales. Sandy's Travel and Photo Journal. Thursday, September 29, 2011. Santa Fe Plaza Wanderings. On my last full day in Santa Fe, I got up in the morning and walked over towards the main Santa Fe Plaza to shop and wander about. My first stop was at El Santuario de Guadalupe, which was built in 1781! It is not a church any longer, but an art and history museum. It sure is a pretty, old building. Another try at artsy. One of the bell towers with the blue iron fence. I'm on Route 66!

We had just come back from 10 days in Cyprus, so this was a real change of pace. This was one of my favorite photos from this whole trip. Of course, there was the usual visit to the Thames, Big Ben and Houses of Parliament. The London Eye and The Dali Museum. Beautiful Little St. Margaret's Church. Another afternoon, I took the tube over to Highgate Cemetery. I had never been there before. What a cool place this is! Links to this post.

Travels, Trails and Tales. Sandy's Travel and Photo Journal. Saturday, August 20, 2011. PNW Road Trip Days 15 and 16: Orcas Island to Portland to Home. Well, we are coming to the end of this journey. Why are the end of vacations so bittersweet? We sat and had our breakfast looking out over Orcas Village feeling sad about leaving this beautiful place.when we saw our ferry (below) come around the corner.
