I'm often up before Greta, and usually end up here at the little table by the kitchen window, looking out over the back yards of this section of Tbilisi, and up to a hill overlooking the city. Although Greta and I often share meals here, too, in the early mornings this has come to feel like my own private place here. An alley, with an apartment block on the left, and garages on the right.
