Travels With A Blue Vase
New Release, Oct 2014. By Mary Ann Miller. As an artist and art educator, I began many years ago to search for the places some of the great artists had lived and worked. From Michelangelo in Florence to Van Gogh and Picasso in the south of France I went, trying to paint where they had painted. I found the best-known paintings of these artists in Paris as well as in tiny museums in other places. Mary Blocksma, in her book, Lake Lover’s Year. My title, Travels with a Blue Vase.

Welcome to "Travels with Ace"
Dog Friendly Hotels & Motels. Welcome to “Travels with Ace”. One man, one dog, one year on the road. John and Ace / Photo by Brendan Finnerty. Inspired by John Steinbeck, unemployment, boredom and that sense of wanderlust that percolates in us all, “Travels with Ace” began as equal parts experiment and adventure. Might Ace and I — if we were to give up our house in Baltimore — be able to travel across America for what we once spent on rent and utilities? We can also report that the people and dogs. In Da...
