Travels With A Burro...

Travels With A Burro. Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Taktsang Monastery is the holiest, most well-known and most widely photographed landmark in Bhutan. A visit to the infamous monastery is included in every tourist itinerary and it lives up to the hype.                                . A cluster of white structures cling to the face of a cliff with all its strength. . This was the first image I saw when I googled Bhutan for the first time twelve months ago. Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Travels With A Burro...: May 2014

http://travelswithaburro.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

Travels With A Burro. Thursday, May 15, 2014. A long overdue synopsis and photo journal of our final weeks in South America. With many drawn out goodbyes and some tearful hugs we made a healthy departure from Bariloche, and I left feeling that I had completed a chapter. My time there taught me so many things about myself and brought so many special people into my life. I am filled with nothing but gratitude and love for this small Patagonian town that I was lucky enough to call home. .

Travels with a Backpack

Travels with a Backpack. Stories of a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer. Thursday, July 19, 2012. It has been entirely too long since I updated this blog. I constantly find myself taking pictures or writing posts in my head, but haven't managed to actually post anything about summer yet! I have plenty of garden updates since it is growing almost over my head, but I'll wait until we really have veggies for that post. One my birthday weekend we made the trek to Philly to check out a game (tickets from Stubhub.

Travels With A Blue Vase

New Release, Oct 2014. By Mary Ann Miller. As an artist and art educator, I began many years ago to search for the places some of the great artists had lived and worked. From Michelangelo in Florence to Van Gogh and Picasso in the south of France I went, trying to paint where they had painted. I found the best-known paintings of these artists in Paris as well as in tiny museums in other places. Mary Blocksma, in her book, Lake Lover’s Year. My title, Travels with a Blue Vase.

Welcome to "Travels with Ace"

Dog Friendly Hotels & Motels. Welcome to “Travels with Ace”. One man, one dog, one year on the road. John and Ace / Photo by Brendan Finnerty. Inspired by John Steinbeck, unemployment, boredom and that sense of wanderlust that percolates in us all, “Travels with Ace” began as equal parts experiment and adventure. Might Ace and I — if we were to give up our house in Baltimore — be able to travel across America for what we once spent on rent and utilities? We can also report that the people and dogs. In Da...
