Travels with Ben

Stories from the road: 3 months in China. A Monk, a Yak, and a potato pancake walk into a bar. Dec 19th, 2006 at 11:04 PM. I'll be working on it over the next week, though as we're moving towards winter weather, my fingers are in a permanent state of frozenness. I've never seen so many stars, and had I known which constellations are which, I think I could have seen them all! My cobweb addled brain finally...

Stories from the road: 3 months in China. Riben Doufu, tiepan nierou, these are a few of my favorite things. Nov 5th, 2006 at 11:34 PM. After a little searching, I've found restaraunts that serve all of the dishes I've been missing for the past couple years. Some, such as the "Japanese tofu" I haven't been able to find anywhere at home, while others just don't seem to taste quite as good as they do here! 1 comment Leave a comment. Stories from the road: 3 months in China. Nov 9th, 2006 at 1:30 AM. We went to the train station today and had fun playing with the computerized information panel.after some touch screen trial and error, we think we've figured out the train schedule to Shanghai. We shall see though- its entirely possible my next entry may be from mongolia, russia, or nepal, depending on how our ticket buying excursion goes. All suggestions for future adventures for Wang Ping are welcomed! View my Tags page.

Jefunira Camp: March 2008

http://jefuniracamp.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html

A cool way to spend your summer! Tuesday, March 11, 2008. Family Movie: A Blast from the Past! With some classic songs in the vein of Mary Poppins and other British musicals, and a good mix of adventure and comedy, this would be a very fun movie for kids aged about 8 and up. There is a battle scene in the end in which bewitched armor defends a village against a Nazi approach, which could be a little intense for younger or more sensitive kids.
